Unstable and loose soil can lead to erosion, posing a threat to any structure.
Our Resin Injection services specialise in using polyurethane resins to densify these soils and provide effective solutions for concrete lifting, repairing, and soil stabilisation. Our services are available in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Whangarei, Kaitaia, and Brisbane.
Deep Resin Injection is a highly recommended process for enhancing soil density beneath structures. We inject the resin into the soil at various depths using high-density polyurethane. The injected resin expands, effectively compacting the soil and increasing stability. This proven technique has been widely used in both commercial and residential applications to prevent and mitigate structural settlement.
Soil Stabilization Solutions
We offer comprehensive soil stabilisation services with Alchatek advanced single-component, water-activated, hydrophobic, low-viscosity, closed-cell polyurethane injection resin. Our solutions cater to various requirements, including:
Soil permeation grouting
Stabilization of loose sand and soil
Filling voids behind concrete structures
Controlling high-flow leaks
Managing underground water flows
Enhancing load-bearing capabilities
Permeation grouting using polyurethane ensures the consolidation and binding of soils. By injecting polyurethane resin in a gridded/sequenced pattern, we create a solid mass of soil and rigid resin, particularly effective for silty and sandy soils. This process displaces water, reversing erosion, improving soil stability, and enhances soil bearing capacity.
Our services extend to residential, commercial, and civil sectors, with applications including:
Bridge approach slabs
Sinkhole or void remediation under slabs caused by loose soil
Areas with loose sand or soil
Increasing load ratings of existing warehouse slabs
Partnering with Alchatek, a leading American polyurethane resin and foam manufacturer, we utilise their expertise and custom-built injection rigs. Through training and collaboration, we strive to become industry leaders in Australasia.
Note: All our polyurethane foam/resin is approved for contact with the ground and drinking water, ensuring safety and compliance.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. How long until I can use my concrete after your work is complete?
A. You can immediately use the concrete slab or floor. However, the polymer reaches its maximum strength after 2 hours.
Q. Is this solution expensive?
A. Our solution is cost-efficient, typically 50% cheaper than traditional reconstruction methods.
Q. How do you control the rise during the process?
A. We employ state-of-the-art tools such as laser levels to ensure accurate adjustment, levelling, and stabilisation work.
Q. How durable is your solution?
A. We offer a 5-year warranty on our products and application. However, our solution typically lasts for the life of your concrete.
Q. What is the environmental impact of your intervention?
A. Our intervention has zero impact on the environment. Our polymer formulas are completely hydrophobic and do not mix with surrounding elements. Moreover, the material’s inert nature eliminates any environmental risks.
How we perform foundation inspections.
One of our knowledgeable inspectors will draw a scaled diagram of the home and take floor elevation measurements after thoroughly inspecting the property inside and out.
We only move to step two if an issue with the foundation is found during the inspection. Our inspector will design a repair plan specific to the property and the issues facing it. They’ll then provide you with a scaled CAD drawing of your home, a full report on the findings, and a suggested repair plan based on those findings will be provided.
We will engage any other professionals that maybe required, such as Geotech and or council and complete to plan.
